Photography has the ability to transform the most mundane reality into something which is, at once, both intimate and magical. Exploring the world in macro holds a special appeal for me. From the private lives of bugs to the hidden curves of a flower, I am endlessly fascinated with subjects whose lives are measured in inches. In addition to being their own pieces of art, the images I capture are often used as inspiration or reference in my other work.
