I love painting. At times, I am inspired to slather it thickly across the canvas with no idea of what it will become. Other times, I plan my work for weeks in advance, meticulously studying references before gently building colors to realize a vision. The work presented here was created with water soluble oils, but I often use acrylics, watercolor or even coffee in my mixed media work. My creations also vary greatly in size, from a few inches to a few feet.
